Irwin Jacobson

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE

With over 25 years of experience working in the entertainment industry, Irwin has held senior finance positions at Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., Technicolor and most recently Deluxe, where he was SVP of Finance and divisional CFO over the Delivery Services businesses for the past three years. Irwin was responsible for design, oversight and management of all financial reporting, billing, planning & analysis activities for multiple worldwide lines of business including Digital Cinema, Delivery Operations and Localization.

Prior to joining Vubiquity, while at Deluxe, Irwin helped negotiate multiple strategic joint ventures, business partnerships, as well as subcontracting and vendor agreements, yielding cost reductions and incremental profits.

During his tenure at Warner Bros, he managed the due diligence efforts and full-on integration of various business acquisitions and projects, including Digital Distribution (internet advertising companies Flixster & Rotten Tomatoes, Crowdfunding Veronica Mars movie), International TV Distribution (production/distribution company Shed Media Group) and Domestic TV Production (content producers Alloy Entertainment, Shed Media US).

Irwin serves on the Board of Directors of First Entertainment Credit Union, a $1.5B financial institution serving the entertainment industry and Los Angeles County at large. He has held the position of Treasurer for more than the past decade and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board. Irwin serves as Chair of the Finance Committee, and is a member of the Asset & Liability Committee (ALCO) as well as the Investments Committee.

Irwin holds an active CPA license in the State of California, was born in Portland, Oregon, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, having graduated with honors from the University of Washington in Seattle.

He began his career by working in public accounting for Deloitte & Touche, first out of Seattle then Los Angeles.
