Darcy serves as Vubiquity’s Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Vubiquity, Darcy was President, Technical Operations and CTO at Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., a post she held since January 2008. In this role, she influenced and directed Warner Bros.’ technology strategy and vision to leverage growth and new business opportunities often associated with advancements in media and entertainment-related product and service innovations.

Before joining Warner Bros., Darcy worked for CBS in a number of lead management roles that encompassed responsibilities for the Network’s operations in New York and Washington Operations for the CBS News Bureau in Washington, D.C. Darcy is a veteran of three Olympics for CBS Sports and a three-time Emmy winner for technical production and engineering and also worked in news, heading up D.C. operations with assignments that included being stationed in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait during the Gulf War.

As a multinational Patents holder, she serves on advisory boards of technology companies and universities. She is also a board member of the Global Advisory Council for the professional Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), providing counseling on new media and technology. Darcy is a recipient of Broadcasting and Cable’s Technology Leadership Award and was selected to Video Business’ Women Elite and named to The Hollywood Reporter’s 2010 Digital Power 50 List. She was awarded the 2011 NAB TVNewsCheck Women in Technology Leadership Award and India’s 2012 NASSCOM Innovator Leader Award.

Darcy holds a master’s degree in finance from Fordham University and honors for work in the field of electrical engineering from her undergraduate alma mater, Temple University.

Doug currently serves as President of Vubiquity. Previously he was President and Chief Operating Officer at TVN Entertainment. Prior to joining the company, Doug was president, COO and a member of the Board of Directors of iFILM, an online media company. Prior to iFILM, Doug was president of The Cottage Group, a private venture capital organization. He joined The Cottage Group after five years at E! Entertainment Television, where he created and managed the New Business Development and Corporate Planning departments. Doug was also the co-founder of E! Online, E!’s Internet business, and served as the company’s senior executive. He began his entertainment and media career at New Line Cinema, where he managed all West Coast business development activities. Prior to New Line Cinema, he worked at Bankers Trust Company in New York and Hayes Microcomputer Products in Atlanta. Doug currently serves on the Digital Hollywood Connected TV- Hollywood Alliance Board of Advisors.

Doug holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an Industrial Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Chief Financial Officer

William serves as CFO for Vubiquity and was named 2011 CFO of the Year, Technology and Life Sciences by the Washington Business Journal. Bill brings extensive experience in the digital media and telecommunications industries to his role, including more than 12 years with Nextel. Following the Sprint Nextel merger, Bill was tapped to serve first as corporate controller and then as interim CFO. Bill directed key finance areas and all aspects of the accounting functions for this global $40 billion telecommunications company, and was responsible for the financial reporting process, Sarbanes-Oxley and all financial filings with the SEC. He most recently served as interim CFO for a digital media technology company that redefines the way people interact with and consume sports content. Bill has also held management positions at Pocket Communications, American Mobile Satellite Corporation and Ernst & Young.

Bill holds a bachelor degree in business administration from John Carroll University.

Gabriel Berger

Executive Vice President, Sales North America

As Executive Vice President of Sales, Gabriel oversees and orchestrates Vubiquity’s monetization efforts throughout North America. Prior to joining the company, Gabriel was SVP, Sales for Digitalsmiths, where he lead his team in successfully evangelizing and selling Digitalsmiths’ Content Discovery Solutions to the top MVPDs in the United States. Before that, Gabriel was VP, Sales for Clearleap, where he was the principal architect developing Clearleap’s sales strategy. Earlier, as VP Sales for Navic Networks, Gabriel played a key role in Navic’s acquisition by Microsoft and worked extensively with numerous MSOs, serving as the primary liaison to Comcast, Time Warner Cable and others during their launch of Navic’s various iTV, VOD and enhanced television products. At Gotuit Media Corp, he held the position of VP, Business Development and was responsible for selling and distributing Gotuit’s technology and programming. Gabriel also held senior level sales positions at Open TV Inc. and The Box Music Network, a division of MTV Networks.

Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategic Business Development

As Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategic Business Development, Pete leads all aspects of Vubiquity’s mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and partnerships, and other related transactions. He brings over 15 years of digital media leadership, having invested in and operated successful entertainment service businesses in the linear, on demand and digital media markets.

Prior to Vubiquity, Pete was EVP Corporate Development for Broadstream Communications (a market leading IPTV content aggregator that was acquired by Avail Media), where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnerships for the company, including key relationships such as Intelsat, Cisco, Microsoft, Motorola, Fujitsu-Siemens, Samsung, Alcatel-Lucent and Humax. While at Broadstream, Pete was instrumental in the launch of over 200 channels of content through their satellite-based IPTVConnect™ service, the industry’s first and most comprehensive IPTV content distribution platform.

Previously, Pete was the Managing Director of Pioneer Venture Partners, a private venture capital firm focusing on early-stage investments in digital media and SaaS based businesses. While with Pioneer, Pete was an advisor to Stellar One, an Interactive Television software business involved with many early iTV global deployments including the launch of Bell Atlantic’s Stargazer service in 1994.

Executive Vice President, Marketing & Communications

As Executive Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Michele is responsible for the overall vision of Vubiquity’s Marketing and Corporate Communications-related initiatives. Previous to joining Vubiquity, Michele was Vice President, WW Direct to Consumer Marketing in the Home Entertainment Division of Warner Bros Studios, where she was responsible for all consumer initiatives available through the studio, including the WB Social Enterprise and the Warner Bros Digital Entertainment Store. Previous to that, as Vice President of WW Marketing, Programming and Acquisitions for Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, Michele oversaw all worldwide marketing efforts over existing, new and emerging digital platforms, including pay-per-view, electronic sell-through, transactional and subscription video-on-demand, wireless and manufacturing on demand.

An industry executive with extensive marketing and sales experience, Ms. Edelman has created dynamic campaigns for some of the largest entertainment studios including Disney, ESPN, MTV Networks and Warner Bros. In 2009, Ms. Edelman co-lead the industry’s first universal Movies On Demand program with CTAM and helped forge a campaign with the cable operators and movie studios garnering $30M in media to promote Transactional Movies On Demand at a time when traditional video stores were closing.

Ms. Edelman received a BA from The University of Rhode Island and is also a graduate of the Tuck Advanced Management Program at Dartmouth College. She sits on the Executive Advisory Board for the Harrington School of Communications and most recently she was elected to the National Board of Directors for GLAAD, the organization dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate and inclusive representation in the media. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2011 URI Dean’s List Distinguished Achievement Award, CTAM’s Rainmaker Award and the 2010 CTAM Chairman’s Award and was named to CableFax’s Top 100 PowerList of Executives. Michele also recently completed Time Warner’s Chairman’s Challenge, a prestigious program initiated by the leaders of Time Warner.

Anupam Gupta

Executive Vice President, Product & Cloud Services

As Executive Vice President of Product and Cloud Services, Anupam is responsible for the strategy, roadmap and development of Vubiquity’s technology platform and product portfolio. He brings over 15 years of product leadership and general management experience, having launched and grown successful cloud-based services in the Consumer Internet, Digital Media and Digital Marketing ecosystems.

Prior to joining Vubiquity, Anupam was part of the founding team of Mixpo and directed the vision, strategy and execution as CEO from 2007 to 2013. Under his leadership, Mixpo built the industry’s most comprehensive platform to enable interactive video advertising across multiple screens, and grew to become a profitable growth-stage company with a world-class team. Mixpo was recognized as one of America’s Most Promising Companies by Forbes in 2013 and 2014, and was also recognized on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 list for 2013.

Before Mixpo, Anupam spent eight years at Microsoft in product management and product marketing teams for global online services: instant messaging, mobile, premium services, blogging/social networking, voice-over-IP and broadband/dialup internet access. He helped scale customer bases and revenue to hundreds of millions worldwide.

Anupam is a regular contributor on the speaking circuit and trade publications for the digital media and digital advertising industry. He is also a mentor to early stage startups via 9Mile Labs, a high tech accelerator in Seattle focused on B2B software and cloud technologies.

Anupam holds an undergraduate degree in computer science from Birla Institute of Technology & Science in India and a MBA from Cornell University.

Steve Holsten

Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel

As Chief Legal Officer, Steve is responsible for the oversight and leadership of all legal aspects of the business, including compliance, risk management and support of strategic corporate initiatives, mergers and acquisitions and complex transactions. Prior to joining Vubiquity, Steve was General Counsel at Eloqua, Inc., the Software-as-a-Service marketing automation company. Steve was part of the team that oversaw Eloqua’s IPO in August 2012 that put the company as one of the top performing technology IPOs of all time based on annual rate of return. He then oversaw the $1B acquisition of Eloqua by Oracle. Prior to Eloqua, Steve worked in the corporate legal departments for VeriSign, Inc. and Winstar Communications, Inc. and for law firms in private practice, including Greenberg Traurig and Riordan & McKinzie (now Bingham McCutchen). Steve received his law degree from UCLA School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Williams College, during which he spent a year studying at Exeter College, Oxford University.

Rob Jacobson is Chief Content Officer where he oversees all strategies, negotiations and program scheduling for Vubiquity’s transactional and subscription platforms across more than 30 countries around the world. In this role, Rob has spearheaded the company’s content strategies on behalf of such global distribution giants as Verizon and AT&T in the US, Televisa in Mexico, SFR in France, Turkcell in Turkey and VTR in Chile. In doing so, Rob established partnerships with all of the foremost content suppliers in Hollywood including all the major studios as well as CBS, HBO, Miramax and others.

Prior to joining Vubiquity, Rob served as President and Chief Executive Officer of iN DEMAND Networks from 2004 through 2009. While at iN Demand, Rob established several innovations in the arena of transactional television programming including oversight of cable’s launch of video on demand, Howard Stern on Demand and the creation of cable’s out-of-market sports packages, NBA LEAGUE PASS, MLB EXTRA INNINGS AND NHL CENTER ICE. Rob also created cable’s first 24/7 HD linear channel, MOJO and won multiple Emmy awards for Interactive Sports Programming for the innovated NASCAR IN-CAR package. Finally Rob created cable’s SVOD service VUTOPIA.

Prior to joining iN DEMAND, Mr. Jacobson was the head of DirecTV’s East Coast programming office and is recognized for the creation and development of Mega March Madness in conjunction with CBS Sports. Jacobson was also responsible for the DirecTV Multi-Cam Racing Series and Ivy League Friday Nights. Mr. Jacobson joined DirecTV from Fox/Liberty Networks where he was Vice President, Affiliate Sales and Marketing. Prior to that he served as Vice President, Programming and Business Affairs for American Sky Broadcasting, L.L.C.

Executive Vice President and Managing Director, EMEA & LatAm

As EVP and Managing Director, EMEA & LATAM, Adam heads Vubiquity’s European headquarters in London and drives the company’s performance and growth in global markets. Adam is a UK national but has an extensive international career spanning Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and AsiaPAC in content distribution, technology and media services, digital media, advertising and broadcast TV.

Prior to Vubiquity, Adam held a number of senior posts at global media companies, including Global SVP – Content, Digital & Media at Liberty Media’s Ascent Media Inc. in Los Angeles, where he led the global content business and developed scaled digital distribution for major Hollywood studios and television distributors across 4 continents. He previously served as CEO of Carlton Communications cinema division, which was highly acquisitive across Europe; CEO of Screenvision, New York (formerly Technicolor Inc.’s Entertainment Services start up for North America) which pioneered digital distribution for advertising to cinema; CEO (Europe) of the digital Ad Network Miva Inc. which created a Paid Search marketplace for digital media in Europe and pioneered a ‘Pay Per Click’ market for mobile in the UK; and Executive Director of Red Bee Media under Macquarie Capital Funds (formerly BBC Broadcast), where he led all commercial functions and set up the ‘On-Demand’ capability, which serviced, amongst others, BBC iPlayer.

Jim is responsible for customer facing revenue generation activities across all Vubiquity’s markets and services, including management of Platform Sales, Affiliate Sales and Content Services teams. Previously, Jim served as Chief Sales Officer for TVN Entertainment, where he crafted distribution and content agreements to become the nation’s largest VOD Service Provider and during which time the company reached profitability. Prior to that, Jim directed the Guthy-Renker Television Networks, where he established the first and largest national direct-response advertising platform to cable and DBS providers in North America. An industry veteran of 24 years, Jim was part of the launch team at E! Entertainment Television, serving as vice president of Affiliate Sales and later establishing the New Technologies Group, managing the development of DBS, Fiber Telco and other non-traditional distribution revenue streams, including development of E! Clips – the CTAM award-winning affinity marketing program. Jim began his television career as a member of the Rainbow Programming Networks Group, a division of Cablevision, directing various sales, marketing and business affairs units.

Jim is a graduate of Fordham University with a degree in Mass Communications and Philosophy and is a member of CTAM, CAB and has served on cable and regional telecommunications associations.

As EVP, Global Operations and Technology, Brendan drives the evolution of Vubiquity’s service delivery infrastructure and technology offerings. Previously, Brendan was responsible for IT, Engineering, and the distribution network for DG, managing a 150-person team dedicated to developing digital content prep and distribution solutions for Brand, Agency, Publisher and Broadcaster clients in both the traditional and online-media space. Prior to joining DG, Brendan spent nearly 10 years at Level 3 Communications, Inc., where he focused on content application development, broadcast and advertising distribution and various other network deployment solutions. Brendan’s teams have been awarded multiple honors such as Sullivan and Frost innovation in industry, Forbes Magazine best of the web, and a Technical Emmy. Prior to his tenure at Level 3, he was at Andersen Consulting where he worked with Fortune 500 IT Outsourcing clients. Brendan has a BA with honors from Brown University.

Phil joined Columbia Capital in 1992. In addition to serving on Vubiquity’s Board of Directors, he currently serves on the Boards of Hatteras Networks, Hillcrest Laboratories, and Imagine Communications. Former Columbia Capital portfolio companies that Phil managed include Altiga Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems), Call Technologies (acquired by 3Com), Columbia Spectrum Management (acquired by P-Com), NMP (acquired by AppNet / Commerce One), Ocular Networks (acquired by Tellabs), Riverbed Technologies (acquired by Aether Systems), Saville Systems (NASDAQ: SAVLY subsequently acquired by ADC Communications), Taqua (acquired by Tekelec), Telular (NASDAQ: WRLS), and Torrent Networking Technologies (acquired by Ericsson). In 1993, Phil joined Telular Corporation as its Chief Financial Officer, where he led the company through an initial public offering, returning to Columbia in 1994. Prior to joining Columbia Capital, he served in various financial management positions for Energy Service Company, Energy Insurance International, Marsh & McLennan, and Lloyd’s of London broker C.T. Bowring & Co. in London, England. Phil received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and his MBA from Kenan-Flager Business School at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He currently serves on the Board of Visitors of the College of William & Mary, the College Foundation Board of the University of Virginia, the Board of Governors of Saint Stephens/St. Agnes School, and the Board of Directors of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association.

William Darman is a Principal at The Carlyle Group. Mr. Darman works in the small-cap leveraged buyout practice focusing on investments in the U.S. telecommunications, media, technology and business services sectors. He is based in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Darman was a Vice President with the leveraged finance group at Goldman Sachs & Co. Previously he was a Managing Director with Fairfax Partners focusing primarily on early stage venture opportunities. Mr. Darman received his M.P.P. from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He received his A.B from Harvard College with honors.

Gary Howard joined the Vubiquity board of directors in September of 2010. Mr. Howard served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Liberty Media Corporation from July 1998 until his retirement from those positions in January 2004. Prior to joining Liberty Media, Mr. Howard was the president and CEO of TCI Ventures Group, TCI’s technology business development unit. Mr. Howard also served as CEO and president of Liberty Satellite & Technology (LSAT). Immediately prior to his position at Liberty Satellite, he was senior vice president in charge of mergers and acquisitions for TCI Communications, Inc. A 1973 graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in accounting, Gary currently serves on the Board of Directors of Dish Corporation, Interval Leisure Group, and Miracles on Ice Charity Foundation.

Ross Levinsohn

Ross Levinsohn has long been at the intersection of technology, media and finance. Best known for his leadership roles at Yahoo and Fox, he has helped build and operate both small and large-scale businesses and invested in more than thirty companies as both an executive and financier.

At Yahoo, Levinsohn served as Interim CEO and Head of Global Media. Prior to being named to that post, he was Executive Vice President of the Americas region. In this role, he was responsible for company’s largest territory, including oversight of advertising sales, business development, partnerships, marketing and media, which generated more than $3 billion of revenue.

Levinsohn spent six years at News Corporation, serving as the President of Fox Interactive Media, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations, strategy and acquisitions that helped transformed the company into a leader in digital media. Before being named to that post he served as Senior Vice President of Fox Sports Interactive Media. He left in 2005 and co-founded Fuse Capital, an investment and strategic equity management firm focused on investing in and building digital media and communications companies.

Levinsohn has held senior management positions with AltaVista, an early pioneer and leader in search, CBS Sportsline where he oversaw all content and development for the top rated sports site, and HBO, where he developed new business ventures, produced off network product and led their initial foray into digital.

He most recently served as CEO of Guggenheim Digital Media where he focused on investments for the global asset management firm with more than $180 billion under management. Additionally, he oversaw its media assets for Guggenheim’s Prometheus Global Media, which includes The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Adweek and the Clio Awards.

Since June of this year, Levinsohn has consulted several digital, media and telecom companies on their digital strategy, while investing in more than half a dozen early stage companies through his own investment group.

Levinsohn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from The American University and currently sits on the Boards of the Tribune Company, Millennial Media, Zefr, and the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE), and is Executive Chairman of Scout Media.

In 2002, he co-founded Valhalla Partners, a group of strategic venture investors that has extensive experience in helping entrepreneurs develop world-class companies at critical stages. His current responsibilities include involvement in media, Internet marketing and security related companies, working with Domain Holdings, EnterpriseDB, Jumptap, Parature, SafeNet, SolidFire, Videology, and Vubiquity. He is a member of the Stanford Law School Board of Visitors as well as the University of Michigan Engineering Advisory Council. He is also currently serving as the Chairman Emeritus of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association. Additionally he serves on the board of the Venture Philanthropy Partners. Art received a Masters in Business Administration with high distinction (Baker Scholar) from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Prior to joining Carlyle in 2008, Mr. Skoglund was an Associate with the investment banking group at Citi. Prior to Citi, he was a consultant with McKinsey and Co. in London. Mr. Skoglund received his MSc in international finance from Lund University.
